Most oversized lighting problems start with a standard size. Our studio adapts and commissions fixtures so the piece fits the architecture — and then proves it to you in drawings before anything is produced.

Designer reviewing a bespoke chandelier technical drawing
Adapted and bespoke work is issued as a drawing set for approval

What can be customized

Element Typical range
Diameter Smaller or larger than stock sizes, within the structure of the original form
Overall height and drop Set to your mounting height, ceiling void and head clearance
Composition Tier count, ring count, cascade length, branch arrangement
Materials and finish Metal finish (brass, bronze, nickel, black, painted), crystal grade, glass colour and texture
Electrical specification 110–120 V or 220–240 V, integrated LED or replaceable lamps, colour temperature, dimming protocol
Suspension and canopy Chain, rod, wire or mixed; canopy sized and shaped for the ceiling and fixing point
Control Matching your project's dimmer or smart lighting system
Quantity Repeated fixture lines matched to each other for lobbies, corridors and suites
Metal, glass and finish samples for bespoke lighting
Finish and material samples are approved before production

The process

  1. Brief. Room type, dimensions, ceiling height and structure, desired scale, style reference, budget frame and date.
  2. Concept. Sketches or a 3D view of the proposed composition with the scale indicated against your room.
  3. Technical drawing set. Overall dimensions, drop and canopy position, tier arrangement, component schedule, finished weight and load information, finish references, packing arrangement.
  4. Material approval. Physical or photographic samples of metal finish, crystal and glass.
  5. Production. Manufacture to the approved drawings, with progress photographs at agreed points.
  6. Inspection and dispatch. Approval photographs of the finished piece, then protective packing and shipment.

What we need from you

  • A plan or section drawing if one exists — even a rough one is useful.
  • A photograph of the ceiling and the intended mounting point.
  • Destination country, so voltage, plug configuration and shipping are correct.
  • The voltage and dimming system on site, if already installed.
  • Your required installation date, so production and transit can be scheduled around it.

Before you commission

If you want to judge scale before committing to a drawing set, start with the Chandelier Studio: choose the room type, choose a fixture and see it placed to scale with the drop checked against your ceiling height.

Send a brief for a custom piece

A sketch, a photo of the room and the ceiling height is enough for us to tell you what is possible, what it costs and how long it takes.
